>>> Our Mission Our MissionMcNair Software was founded to provide practical, innovative and cost effective software design solutions to manufacturers of automation, motion control and computer-based instrumentation. In fourteen years we've evolved from designing just software and firmware to including hardware design to provide a full featured product design. We differentiate ourselves from other design firms by becoming partners with our clients. Our goal is not to feed a man a fish and feed him for a day, but to teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. In other words, we provide our clients with the documentation tools to understand, track and evaluate (and eventually, maintain) the product we develop. It is essential that we provide not only superior software, firmware, hardware and documentation, but also provide the expertise in the environment in which the software will function. If we do not have the environment expertise within our organization, we will seek it out. Strategic GoalsWe focus on two markets: Designing and programming embedded control products using .net, C++, Windows CE, XP Embedded and assembly for the automation, motion control, medical and computer-based instrumentation market. Designing and programming Windows operating systems and applications in the automation, motion control, medical and computer-based instrumentation markets. OrganizationThe corporation uses a team-based philosophy to projects; therefore, there is no traditional organization chart. There are no layers of middle management. A project team is headed by a project leader and is selected by the President from a pool of all McNair Software employees. The project leader is responsible for overseeing the project and providing guidance and leadership. All team members are responsible for the success of the project.
