Development Approach

Feedback

Perhaps the most valuable aspect of our stepped project execution is the concept of feedback throughout the project. In the beginning steps, specification and design, using the review process we can detect faults and improvements and feed them back into the previous phase, leading to a better product. Once we are into the detailed design, development and implementation steps, we reduce the risk of rework because we've thoroughly thought through the process. This technique helps keep us on schedule and target the budget. The testing process feeds back into the development process, catching as many failures as possible. The results of testing may feed back into the requirements, but this is a rare occurrence and usually happens due to a product definition change. Product Requirements Development It is essential that this first step be addressed completely. Whether this is something that the client defines, that we define or that we work on together, it is essential that everyone understand the global system requirements. Product requirements address purposes, inputs and outputs. Good product requirements lead to a good understanding of the project. Good understanding of the project let's us intelligently determine solution requirements: software and support.
