Manufacturing & Machining
The NCDMM delivers state-of-the-art
manufacturing solutions to ensure the quality, affordability, maintainability,
and rapid deployment of existing and yet-to-be developed defense systems.
Collaboration among Government, Industrial, and Academic organizations will
enhance key development efforts. Disciplined training and implementation
methodologies will ensure the rapid deployment of best practices to key
stakeholders.
As a member of the NCDMM, McNair
Software will participate in solving some of the government's manufacturing
problems and issues as well as helping to develop the next generation to
machining to place our country at a global competitive advantage.

McNair Software joins Motorola
Design Alliance
We
are pleased to announce that McNair Software has joined the Motorola Design
Alliance Program. By forming alliances with industry-leading consultant
engineers, Motorola is allowing our customers to connect quickly with
experienced design resources and accelerate their time-to-market.
As a designer of embedded products
for over 12 years, McNair Software has a long and proven relationship with
Motorola components. We've implemented the Motorola 6801, 6805, 6809, 68000,
68332 and 68HC11 micros as well as the new Dragonball processor. We've used
these processors in devices ranging from gas detection, human vitals data
acquisition, servo motor control and pathology instrument control.
The Motorola Partner Alliances
Program represents a Global initiative by Motorola through the creation of a
Demand Creation network, linking third-party developers and Motorola's
DigitalDNA technology to Motorola customers looking to outsource their design
solutions with Motorola.

Electro-Optics Center
We
are pleased to announce that McNair Software has been included in the growing
list of Electro-Optics Alliance (EOA) members . With our extensive experience
and skill with industrial control, embedded systems and varied hardware
components, we add our expertise to the talents of other EOA members to build
diverse and advanced devices and systems based on the expanding field of
electro-optics.
The Electro-Optics Alliance (EOA)
is an organization formed to advance the commercial viability of Navy/DoD
critical electro-optics manufacturing technology, to promote technology transfer
to industry, and to promote U.S. preeminence in all areas of electro-optics. The
EOA currently has 203 members: 158 industrial, 36 academic, and 9 government
affiliates and is designed to facilitate formation of dynamic, geographically
distributed teams comprised of Alliance members best qualified to address
specific issues and opportunities.
